Nebraska Wesleyan junior Hannah Husmann has been on a mission to save lives since her freshman year of high school, when a classmate died of cancer.

鈥淚 wanted to help in any way I could, and her parents suggested giving blood and told us how she had needed blood transfusions,鈥� Husmann recalled.

Two years ago Lindsey Jones received a prestigious Goldwater Scholarship to help enhance her knowledge and experience in science.
