Social Work Degrees

Social justice requires social work. SM论坛 prepares you for the work鈥攁nd the career鈥攖hat brings social justice to people, families and communities.

If you鈥檙e committed to a career and life of service, integrity, human relationships, competency and the worth and dignity of every person, then SM论坛 is committed to you.

We use evidence-based practices to build your potential as a professional in the challenging and rewarding social work field. A social work degree from SM论坛 will help you become a strong, mature, objective and responsible communicator.

As a social work major, you鈥檒l develop your competence, confidence and independence as you work with your professors and classmates. Those same strengths will serve you well as you transition to working with colleagues and clients.

Get amazing results.

You鈥檒l learn the competencies to intervene ethically and effectively with diverse people. And you鈥檒l learn to use the best research to evaluate decisions and advance the profession.

About half of SM论坛 social work graduates work in child, family or school social work. Others work in medical, mental and public health fields, including substance abuse. We also prepare you to pursue a graduate degree and become a licensed, clinical social worker.
