The Emmy-nominated Nebraska Wesleyan University Choir will perform a concert of classic choral literature during its upcoming winter tour. 

The choir tour begins January 4 and will conclude with a final performance at O鈥橠onnell Auditorium on the Nebraska Wesleyan University campus on January 16. The tour includes performances in Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Nebraska.

Eighteen Nebraska Wesleyan University students who are interested in refugee and immigration issues will spend part of their winter break in Arizona for a service project.

Members of the student organization Global Service Learning will travel to Tucson, Arizona, on January 4 where they will work with the Iskashitaa Refugee Harvesting Network.

During the 2009-2010 fiscal year Nebraska Wesleyan University received over $1,000,000 from corporations, foundations and organizations.

A Nebraska Wesleyan University history professor has been awarded a fellowship from the Office of the State Historian/Historical Society of New Mexico Scholars Program.

Gabrielle Toy was recently hired by the Lancaster County Sheriff鈥檚 Office as a Deputy. She will also be presenting her research project on avian scavenging in Nebraska at the research symposium on Dec. 11 in Callen Conference Center. Congratulations, Deputy toy!
