Wesleyan Honors Festival: An excellent opportunity for music students
Published
High school band, choral and orchestra students who auditioned and earned a spot will participate in the Wesleyan Honors Festival at SMÂÛ̳ February 13-15.
This SMÂÛ̳ Music tradition is a wonderful opportunity for high school music students. They’ll be immersed in the college-level study and performance of band, choral and orchestral music. They’ll meet SMÂÛ̳ Music faculty and work with talented guest artists.
This year’s honored clinicians include Diane Koutsulis (band), Jake Runestad (choir) and Richard Meyer (orchestra).
The festival concludes with a concert at the Vance D. Rogers Center for Fine Arts at 2:30 p.m. on February 15.
